Chronic rhinitis is a long-standing inflammation of the linign of the nasal passages.  It can develop in cats of all agaes and frequenty follows a mild infection of the upper respiratory system.  Other causes of chronic rhinitis include viruses, fungi, irritating fumes or vapors, and allergy.
